OPTIONS

We are very flexible and happy to structure your archery event to fit with your needs.

Here are just a couple of options to give you an idea of how your archery event could be structured:

Have-A-Go Activity

A typical event would see us provide two full size straw targets and one qualified archery coach.

Each guest who chooses to ‘have-a-go’ gets the one-on-one attention of a coach. The guest is given a brief rundown of how to use the equipment and then is given six arrows to aim on target, receiving individual advice between each arrow to help improve his/her performance.

This is a high speed, high turnover activity and would typically see us work with 30-50 guests each hour. Each guest would spend 2-3 minutes taking part in the activity.

This sort of activity is particularly suitable as a ‘side event’ at fun days, country fairs, corporate conferences, weddings and garden parties.

Mini Beginners’ Course & Tournament

This team / group activity takes the form of a mini beginners course followed by an archery tournament.

Participants are given an introduction to the equipment and the fundamentals of archery. Our fully qualified staff will then coach them through several rounds of practice shots where they will learn to handle the bow and arrows, and shoot on target.

After a brief break, we are back for an archery tournament where participants can put their new found archery skills into practice and compete against one another.

The tournament can either be run as an individual contest, or as Team A vs Team B.

Participants will have the opportunity to shoot different types of bows including Olympic recurve bow and modern compound bow. A trophy can be presented at the end of the tournament for the best team or highest individual score.

Additional trophies, plaques and rosettes can be supplied.

This activity is particularly suited for small to medium sized groups for instance a corporate team building activity,  corporate hospitality event or stag / hen adventure day.

Typical activity duration = 2 hours
