Frostbite Award Scheme

The Frostbite Award scheme is designed to help you practice during the winter and to recognise your achievements.

To receive a Frostbite badge you will need to achieve two qualifying scores shot at our monthly Frostbite meetings which are every 3rd Sunday from October to March.

Badges come in 200, 225, 250, 275, 300, 315, 330, 340, 350, 355.

The award scheme in use at many archery clubs in the UK and applies to all archers, irrespective of age, ability or bow type (scores differ by bow type).

The Rules

Metric, ten-zone scoring (10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) on an 80cm target face

Another archer should witness the final score

Each score must be achieved twice to be awarded the badge

The archer’s responsibility is to make a claim on a standard score sheet, witnessed by at least one other club archer, who will record the scores, then sign and print their name on completion as confirmation. The completed score sheet should then be handed to the club’s records officer
