Our head coach has spent another weekend at Lilleshall, home of Archery GB, where he has been attending training given by LLoyd Brown; the current Archery GB Olympic coach.
This training has been provided to only a few in the country who were selected via an application process. The training involved new skills and drills with the aim of producing new talented archers that can progress to the highest levels in competitive archery.
In addition to LLoyd Brown there was also input from Michael Peart (Paralympic Coach), Rob Norman (Archery GB/ English Institute of Sport Strength and Conditioning Coach) and Oliver Logan (Bio-mechanist/Coach, English Institute of Sport). This training is being cascaded to our other coaches and new approaches to archery training are already being implemented.
