More about the course

This is one of our most popular courses where we aim to get you shooting to club level in no time!

No experience is necessary, and on completion you will be able to apply to join any archery club in the UK.

You will be learning within a group, but are still guaranteed plenty of individual attention.

The course lasts for a minimum of 6 hours of structured lessons. The 6 hours will either be over a weekend, or during the evening. Your learning is ongoing, and our coaches are always on hand to help.

We will teach you the right technique to ensure you know how to shoot safely and confidently.

While many beginners’ courses provide only the opportunity to shoot the Olympic style recurve bow, here at Grey Goose Archery we also provide the opportunity to shoot our longbows and the modern compound bows.

At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of competence which is required to shoot at an Archery GB club.

This is a sociable and fun introduction to the fundamentals of archery and is always very popular, so booking well in advance is advisable. The price £65 and the course is suitable for ages 12 years upwards.
