All the events booked by the client shall be subject to the following terms and conditions. The reading of these conditions by the client shall be deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1. Information:
The client shall provide on request all such information as is available and relevant to the event, to enable Grey Goose archery to make an assessment of its obligation to provide the service required.
2. Price:
The price payable is that set out in the invoice, or the price verbally agreed by the two parties and confirmed in writing or by e-mail later.
3. Payment:(a) Events can only be reserved by means of a competing our online booking form and an accompanying non-refundable deposit of 30% (outside of 30 days of the commencement date) or 100% (inside of 30 days of the commencement date) of the total event fees.
(b) The balance to be paid 30 days prior to the event unless otherwise arranged in writing between the two parties. Failure to pay the balance payment 30 days prior to the event date will result in late payment charges and could result in your booking being cancelled – upon which no monies paid will be refunded.
4. Cancellation / refunds:
(a) By the client. Grey Goose archery must be notified of event cancellations and the following charges shall apply: If more than 30 days notice is given there will be a 100% refund given. 30 to 15 days notice 50% of the total price. 14 days notice or less is subject to 0% of the total price.
(b) By Grey Goose archery. Grey Goose archery reserves the right to cancel the event, if the balance of the total price has not been received 30 days prior to the event without alternative arrangements being made in writing.
(c) If an activity has been commenced and is interrupted for reasons beyond the control of Grey Goose Archery, you shall not be entitled to a refund, but will be offered, at the sole discretion of Grey Goose Archery, an alternate date or time slot.
(d) In all cases and for all reasons, refunds will not exceed the maximum value of the original transaction. Any refunds shall be processed within 30 days and applied to the original transaction method.
5. Guest attendance:
The client shall not be entitled to any reduction in the price if the guest numbers are lower than that stated in the original booking confirmation. Any per head priced mentioned in a proposal is for information only and is an indication only of that price as part of a total price. As an example; if you require to reduce the number of participants for an event to below the minimum number of participants stated for a booking the price per person will increase as we are required to pay for the minimum number of participants. Additional guests added to the agreed figure may be charged at a price per head as an extra.
6. Additional Services:
Additional services requested by the client, on the day of the event and not included in the original booking confirmation, will be invoiced and payable within seven days after the issue date of the invoice. Additional services requested prior to the event shall be invoiced and payable prior to the event.
7. Company Authority:
The client agrees that Grey Goose archery have full authority during the event and shall comply with any request or instruction made by Grey Goose archery and its staff.
8. Alcohol drugs and the law:
Due to the nature of the activites no alcohol shall be consumed or made available until after the cessation of all activities / events.
7. Participant exclusion:
Grey Goose Archery reserves the right to exclude any adult or child for any reason, including but not limited to bad behaviour, illness and bullying. Refunds will not be offered for remaining days when an adult or child is excluded. No refund will be made for days missed and no compensation will be made for any other costs or losses incurred as a result.
8. Photography and Video:
We may take photographs or video footage for training and marketing purposes. If you want to exclude yourself or your child, please email or call our Customer Services team before the session starts.
9. Health and Safety:
There may be occasions where the medical or physical conditions of an adult or child means that it would not be appropriate or safe to include that adult or child in the archery session on the basis of health and safety.
It is the participants / guardians / schools / companies responsibility to inform Grey Goose Archery at the time of booking of any pre-existing medical, physical or behavioural conditions, or medication requirements, so that Grey Goose Archery can make provision for the adult or child’s specific needs during the session.
9.1. Axe throwing:
Every participant is responsible for the safety of themselves, other throwers and spectators.
Participants under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult on the throwing range
Suitable footwear must be worn at all times. CLOSED-TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED for anyone taking part in throwing.
Participants will be instructed in safety guidelines, throwing technique, and the structure of the session upon arrival.
NEVER cross the throwing line until axes have come to rest either in the target or on the floor.
NEVER throw until the participant in the adjacent lane has completed their throw.
Participants should be aware that projectiles might clash and cause spikes or metal burrs which may cause injury to hands.
Participants should be aware that any projectile may bounce back and cause injury.
9.2. Target archery:
Every participant is responsible for the safety of themselves, other archers and spectators.
Participants under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult on the archery range
Suitable footwear must be worn at all times. CLOSED-TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED for anyone taking part in archery.
Participants will be instructed in safety guidelines, shooting technique, and the structure of the session upon arrival.
NEVER cross the shooting line until you are instructed to by your coach.
NEVER shoot any arrows until you are told to do so.
10. Our staff:
All of our staff have Disclosure and Barring Service checks (DBS checks) in place. We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect or fraudulent information provided by any individual when completing their DBS checks.
11. Venues and access:
It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure that access is suitable for us to get our equipment through and into the venue. It is also the clients’ responsibility to make sure the activity is permitted at the venue.
12. Gift Vouchers
Grey Goose Archery gift vouchers in pounds sterling are issued by and are the property of Grey Goose Archery whose registered office is at 149 Broomhill, Downham Market, PE38 9QU. Grey Goose Archery gift vouchers are sold subject to these terms and conditions and by purchasing you will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions. Grey Goose Archery gift vouchers are issued for redemption against (a) grey goose archery experience days or equivalent in value to their full-face value or (b) as part payment against the same. Grey Goose Archery gift vouchers are purchased on www.greygoosearchery.co.uk and the terms and conditions applicable to the use of that web-site, including the Grey Goose Archery privacy policy, will apply. Payment will be made to Grey Goose Archery, who will also be responsible for emailing the E gift voucher. Grey Goose Archery gift vouchers may be cancelled after issue if any information supplied at the time of purchase is untrue or inaccurate, or if payment is declined or incorrect cardholder details and/or billing information have been supplied.
Each Grey Goose Archery gift voucher features a unique reference code and date stamp and:
May be redeemed once for its full face value within its period of validity in exchange for Grey Goose Archery experience days.
Must be presented for redemption upon arrival at Grey Goose Archery.
May not be exchanged as a whole or in part for cash.
Will not be replaced if lost or stolen and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Its redemption will be subject to the availability of experience days at Grey Goose Archery and may be subject to government or regulatory approvals, regulations and restrictions
In the event that the value of the Grey Goose Archery gift voucher does not cover the full cost of the experience day provided then the balance must be paid by the redeemer of the Grey Goose Archery gift voucher in cash.
Is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Vouchers purchased from a third party i.e Buy a Gift, Into the Blue etc. You may reschedule your appointment with us with 30 days notice for an admin fee of £10. Unfortunately we cannot accept third party voucher rebooking requests within less than this notice.
Any use of the Grey Goose Archery web-site www.greygoosearchery.co.uk will be subject to the policies, terms and conditions displayed on or accessible from the web-site. Grey Goose Archery gift vouchers are subject to the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes.
13. Experience days:
All experiences days are offered subject to the availability of dates, facilities and staff. Bookings should be made as far in advance as possible especially during peak times such as weekends and holidays.
You have the right to reschedule a booking up to 30 days before the experience is due. You can reschedule your booking up to 14 days before your appointment however this is subject to a admin fee of £10. Unfortunately we cannot offer a reschedule with less than 14 days notice.
